Accounting and Financial Advisory (AFA), is proud to donate much-needed baby items to the Princess Alice Adoption Home (PAAH), which is in short supply of nappies and other baby-related products.
PAAH is a temporary place of safety for babies who have been consented for adoption, abandoned, or removed from family care. PAAH currently cares for babies from newborns up to two years old.
Sumendra Naidoo, Director of AFA says, “We believe we have a responsibility to contribute to the communities in which we operate. With the rising costs around us, we know that there are many organisations in South Africa that require additional support from private companies such as ours. The culture of AFA is to always give back to those less fortunate and we will continue to support the Princess Alice Adoption Home as we have already done in the past 4 years. ”
AFA continues with their Corporate Social Investment practices in the three provinces where they operate: Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape.
Jo-Anne Schermeier, Fundraising Manager of PAAH adds, “During these difficult economic times, PAAH is under strain to serve the community. The home has a constant need for products to take care of the children and this week we were almost depleted of disposable nappies. A huge thanks to the kind generosity of AFA, who with just one call supported us with a sizable donation of products.”
